My Kids Halloween Costumes

The internet is a magnificent resource for ideas about kids Halloween costumes. There are a lot of web pages devoted to this fun holiday. My son loves Halloween and deciding on a costume is a huge concern when you are eight. It seems like he has started thinking about what costume he wants to wear for Halloween right after school starts.
When kids are little, you can dress them up like a ladybug and everyone thinks that it is cute. When your kid gets older, though, watch out. They want to be scary and wear bloody kids Halloween costumes. I spread fake cobwebs all over my son's grim reaper outfit and gave him fake chains to carry last year. He did look pretty scary.
I get carried away with kids Halloween costumes. My daughter was only six weeks old on her first Halloween. I bought her a cute little bunting suit and turned her into a little sunflower. I pushed her to a festival at the local college put on
by the sororities and fraternities. I got a lot of compliments on my beautiful new baby and her cute little costume.
My daughter's second Halloween she was dressed as a little frog. A lot of the kids Halloween costumes I found did not come with many accessories. I had to find something appropriate for her legs and ended up buying polka dot pantyhose at the local shoe store. The costume came with a bubble style suite, a hat and two webs to tie at her ankles to look like frog feet.
I was looking at patterns for kids Halloween costumes online and found a pattern for a candy corn costume. I thought it was so cute, but I think that I am going to pass on buying that. I can't sew and I would have to find someone to make it for me. If I was able to sew, I think that I could make some really great kids Halloween costumes. I have creativity and no talent.
There were a couple of years that I let Halloween sneak up on me. I went out at the last minute and the kids Halloween costumes at Wal Mart were pretty picked over. I was able to find one costume at a drugstore that fit my son. My husband almost fell out of his chair when his son came out wearing a ladybug outfit. I thought it was cute. My son was only four and was not self conscious at all about being a ladybug.
